They have to be open-minded and adventurous, and try new and unfamiliar foods. They also have to eat a lot, as they may order several courses or visit multiple restaurants in a day. Food critics have to balance their appetite and health, and avoid overeating or wasting food. They may also have to deal with food poisoning, allergies, or other adverse reactions from the food they eat.
